Spring is in the air...

I'm thrilled that Spring will be officially here in only a matter of days! Brody and I spent an afternoon at the park yesterday. The weather was gorgeous and we had a great time.

Spring flowers are beginning to bloom and I'm ready to get busy with new designs! We're also gearing up for jewelry and craft shows now that the weather is warming up. I'll be posting a schedule of our booked shows soon.

I've also opened an Etsy shop to compliment the website for those who love to shop Etsy. Our full selection can be found on the Lily J Designs website.

This year is going to be so much fun now that my five-year-old son is old enough to really get excited about the Christmas holiday. Each week I'm showcasing one of my favorite pieces from our online catalog.

This week's feature is Chunky Cherry - a necklace full of chunky Cherry Quartz beads separated by pistachio green and clear glass beads. Also featured are green heart-shaped glass foil beads, accented by light pink floral swirls. The most stunning feature of this necklace is the focal point - a 2 1/2" Cherry Quartz teardrop. For more than ten years, I've dreamed of owning a small business. And I am thrilled to finally say that dreams DO come true! Once the process began, I quickly realized just how overwhelming starting a business can be. There just aren't enough hours in the day to squeeze everything in. And working full-time outside the home makes it even more complicated.

I'm indeed blessed to have a great support system. My husband D, has been my rock and has encouraged me every step of the way. In fact, if not for him, Lily J Designs would never have gone beyond my scratchpad.
